First Two Days In London

Today I minded the gap when getting off the underground, ate lunch in the Crypt (catacombs) of an old Catholic Church sitting on old tomb stones, saw the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace, visited more museums than I though was possible in a day, almost got hit by a double decker bus, walked home through a part of town that I definately shouldn't have, ate an amazing European Cocolate Twist thing, and climbed more stairs that I thought I would ever need to. My day is definitely complete.

As for yesterday, I did and saw so much that it is hard for me to even remember. The highlights were Piccadilly Circus, Big Ben, meat pies at the local pub, Leicester and Trafalga Squares, and definately Les Miserables. That is what I can remember at the moment. That doesn't include the crazzy people I met and other random things. Not bad for running on no sleep that day cause I couldn't sleep on the flight. ;)

We will see what tomorrow brings!

  1. I went to an irish restaurant on foothill tonight and had a lamb sandwich. I thought of you. It was pretty good. We'll have to go sometime when you get back from Europe. I have no doubt that you are having a stellar time in Europe.
